Igloo Center

photo

Wanted to share this amazing center the parents at our school put together. We collected many milk jugs and they used hot glue to put them all together.

They completed the center with a fake fire, empty hot chocolate boxes and sticks for the fake marshmallows to roast. The ice-covered pond has fish to catch with velcro and the kids can even skate on the ice pond with wax paper squares (see pictures below). I would estimate it took 150-200 milk jugs to complete the structure. Yep, our parents are amazing!

  2. Matt,

This is amazing! What was it for? Are you studying this or was it for a play or just for fun?

    How neat!

    Thanks for sharing,

    Erin

Wow, that is amazing! Most of the parents at my school are too busy trying to figure out where their next month’s rent is coming from to build an igloo for my classroom. Kudos to you!

  4. Excellent dramatic play center! Your students are very lucky!
