  1. You’re amazing! Thank you for sharing. My 1st graders have really enjoyed Twitter this year.

I just checked out my teachers convention package and you are presenting. woohoo! So excited .

“I wanted for my students: to see themselves as part of a huge network of children, kindergarteners, learners, and students” – this also has potential to involve children in the third world. Many of them are deprived by poverty of the chance to feel part of the international community, but a scheme like this would not be too hard to set up.

Love this post! I am always looking for ways to use technology in meaningful ways in my classroom. We are getting ready to start a weather unit…we already have science notebooks, so I guess we need to start tweeting with some meteorologist. Thanks for the great ideas!

  5. Hi, my name is Gregory Olson. I am student at South Alabama in Mobile, AL. In one of my classes, EDM310, we are given different teachers to look at their posts and comment about them. I will enjoy reading these websites, as I am wanting to figure out how to use Twitter myself in my future classes as a teacher. I a class I took up in Auburn University, we used Twitter to hold class one day so that everyone can participate freely in a discussion.
